An educational reader written by James Stuart containing izifundo, or ‘lessons’, pertaining to the life ways of African people. Each of the readers drew heavily on evidence Stuart had recorded from conversations with interlocutors. Sometimes, they also incorporated anecdotes of Stuart’s own making. uHlangakula was published in 1924.
